While underwater the user can arbitrarily change the monitor angle anywhere from 0 ° to 45 °. When looking up in the water, use the 0 ° setting; when shooting downwards, change to the 45 ° setting.
- Vari-angle grip
- The grip angle can be adjusted between 0 ° to 60 °, vertical, or horizontal.
However when it is 0°- 60°angle, it becomes difficult to access the button and dial.
- Connecting an external battery
- It can take a video for a longer time when connected to the external battery instead of the original strobe with micro USB. Both ends of Micro USB cable are ‘L-shaped’.
- TTL shooting
- It can do an accurate TTL shooting by using the original external strobe by Sony.
- Movie ON/OFF Lever
- The lever can be used the upper pull lever or the lower push lever depending on the angle of grip.
- Clamp ring system’s Gear
- The zoom gear and the focus gear are the clamp ring system. There is no slip depending on lens individual differences because it can be adjusted as you like.
- External strobe power lever
- It is possible to turn ON/OFF the genuine strobe HVL-F20M from the outside.
- φ10 push buttons
- As pushing a button of φ8mm while underwater can cause pain to your finger, the buttons have been enlarged. The buttons have also been moved farther apart. The button that is close to the wall and hard to push is angled.
- Controls are sealed by two sliding O-rings.
- The mount port, the gear knob, the push buttons, the focus Knobs and the star-dials etc. are sealed by two sliding O-rings.
- The shaft has a polished finish.
- Beginning with the first model ever sold, the APSG-DP2, ACQUAPAZZA has polished finishing all their shafts.
- Double-sealed opening
- The horizontal O-ring can be flooded just by floating a little. However, even if there is a gap of 1mm between body and cover, the vertical O-ring will not flood. ACQUAPAZZA has succeeded in developing the stronger double-sealed opening. Regular maintenance assures you of even more worry-free photography.
- Use at water depth of 0-100m
- It is developed to be used at a water depth of no greater than 100m and all elements considered.
It goes without saying that the housing has high strength, and the sliding O-rings are all double-sealed.
- Flat cover
(Standard) - Both the INON 45° viewfinder unit for the X-2 and the INON viewfinder window unit for the X-2 are attachable.
- M14/M16 Accessory Ports
- There are two accessory ports in the housing. The M14 ports allow communication between the camera and the strobes. (Bulkhead connectors sold separately.) The ports on the M16 also allow connection of an exterior monitor. (You will need an L-shaped HDMI sync cord, an exterior monitor (from SHOGUN), and an underwater housing for the monitor(also from SHOGUN).. Available from other companies at separate cost.)
- Large aperture LB port
- The ports of the external lens diameter can be designed up to φ110. Therefore 180mmMacro and SELP28135G can be used. (Built-to-order)
- Desorb a camera in a single operation
- It is possible to desorb a camera in a single operation even if it is SELP28135G of φ105.
- Choose an optical finder
(Option) - You can choose which viewfinder you want for your flat back cover. (However, if at the time of construction of your order stock is unavailable, we will not be able to meet your request.) You can equip with 45° View Finder Unit for X-2 or Finder Window Unit for X-2 of INON. (The straight viewfinder unit will result in slight vignetting. Other viewfinders will not work with the X-2.) (To install the viewfinder, a special securing ring for an INON viewfinder unit must be sent separately.)
- Tripod Screw
- To be able to use a tripod underwater, there are two places to insert a tripod screw. This is very handy for static shooting or for motion capture.

- The hood is fully capable of shading a monitor when the sea is bright, and can be removed with just a touch when it is not needed.
